Larson trained for 3 years as a service dog, but found his calling as a speciality therapy dog with Matthew Decker. He has been working with Veterans for 7 years. His resume includes jobs at the Veterans Administration, crisis responses team at the Oroville Dam crisis, the 2017 Napa Sonoma fires, and 2018 Yountville Veterans Home shooting.
Skye was trained by K9 Guardian Angels to be a service dog as well as their breeding foundation. Unfortunately Skye has a chicken allergy and is unfit to be a service dog breeder, so she career changed to work as a therapy dog. Skye splits her time between working with our Executive Director, and working with his wife Laura (also an LCSW) at Napa State Hospital.
Maggie passed away in August of 2021 after a battle with cancer. She resides on the top shelf of Matt's office, where she can oversee the work that her brother, Larson does. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Maggie is a rescue dog from New Mexico found at Loving Labs. She was born in 2009 and got her first therapy certification in 2011. Since that time she has saved multiple lives including alerting her co-therapist to the suicidal intent and homicidal intent of clients. Maggie has been described by her clients as an emotional sponge that never stops absorbing. She has worked for community mental health agencies, the Veterans Administration, the Department of Defense, and California Department of State Hospitals. Maggie is now in retirement working part time as she feels like it, usually one day per week.
Wylie is a mix of mostly German Shepherd and Husky and is Jennifer's co-therapist. While being just over a year old, he is adapting well to working in therapy and is looking forward to many years of getting couch cuddles from our clients.
Hershey is a pure bred Chocolate Lab born in 2013 and joined the E5 Therapy team as Kimberly’s co-therapist. Kona is a 7 yr. old purebred Shiba Inu and belongs to our Operations Manager Michael and his partner Elise. Kona, like most Shiba, is very catlike and chooses who he gives attention to. He will happily greet most people, but tends to dodge attempts to pet. If you scratch his chest or bribe him with treats he will be more likely to let you pet him.
Donut is an AKC Purebred German Shepherd and belongs to our Operations Manager Michael and his partner Elise. Donut is a rescue from a fellow Veteran and former Police officer that was struggling with her energy and behavior. Donut is working on understanding that strangers are not scary; she may look dangerous but she is one of the sweetest dogs in the office once she knows you.
Nola is a pure-bred Silver Lab born in 2023 and joined the E5 Therapy team
as Clinician Kimberly’s 2 and co-therapist along with Hershey. Nola has been working hard
alongside Hershey training to become a well-trained therapy dog and
emotional support dog. Nola eagerly comes to work daily and loves
the clients she engages with. Clients delight

attention clients give her. She is well on her way to being an amazing
