Do you want to start a practice with Canine-Assisted Therapy, or do you have a clinician in your practice that wants to bring their dog into the office? Ensuring that you have the proper experience and supervision is an important part of learning new therapy techniques. Let us help you stay safe, relevant, and proficient in this new practice with dogs.
There are many ways to find a quality dog that will be a good co-therapist. This task is not easy, but we have the experience necessary to improve your chances of success. Let us help you find the right dog to match your skills.
If you have a dog that you think would be a great co-therapist, but want to make sure that his or her skills are up to date? We can help you train and re-train your dog to engage with you and your clients in a way that is therapeutic and diagnostically relevant. Our goal is to make sure your dog is a good co-therapist without taking away what makes him or her affective.
If your supervisor would like a third party evaluation of your co-therapist, give us a call. We will give a unbiased evaluation of your partner, and provide a written report with our findings. If your dog does require some re-training, we are happy to help with that as well.
