Beatriz is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. She currently serves in the United States Air Force Reserves having served now for eight years and deployed.
In addition to her military service, Beatriz has worked as a police officer in the Bay Area for the past five years. Within her Agency, she serves as a Hostage Negotiator and is also a member of the Crisis Intervention Team, where she works directly with individuals experiencing mental health crises. Through her work in law enforcement and the military, she has developed extensive experience operating in high-stress situations that require calm decision-making, communication, and empathy.
These experiences have shaped her commitment to helping individuals navigate difficult moments and improve their mental health and well-being.
Beatriz’s clinical approach is trauma-informed and grounded in her experience working in high-stress environments. She also uses a solution-focused approach that helps clients identify their strengths and develop practical strategies for moving forward.

Sarah joined E5 Therapy in February 2026. She was born in Texas and raised in Central West Africa. As the daughter of an Air Force member who later became a missionary, she moved frequently throughout her childhood, because of this she connects easily with both third culture and military kids.
She spent over a year in Bosnia working in humanitarian aid, including six months in a city that was actively being bombed. During that time, she saw firsthand the profound impact of long term trauma, which strengthened her understanding of the need for meaningful mental health support. That experience helped focus her long standing desire to help people in a more intentional lasting way.
After returning home, Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Liberty University. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Counseling at Hope International University.
Sarah loves helping people and is passionate about seeing them become emotionally healthy and truly thrive in their lives. Her approach is steady, supportive, and focused on creating real lasting change, not just short term relief.
She works well with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by past experiences and are seeking something deeper than surface level coping. Many of her clients are navigating trauma, identity concerns, life transitions, or loneliness. She is committed to helping clients reach their goals and see that they don’t have to live in survival mode, but can build rich thriving lives with deep healthy relationships. She is excited to help people get from where they are to where they want to be.
