Mr. Decker is the founder and Executive Director of E5 Therapy. He was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and immediately after high school graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. While deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, he realized how much his Marines needed emotional and mental health support. Returning home, he completed a Bachelor of Sociology degree and a Master of Social Work degree. He is now a license clinical social worker in Northern California, focused on helping Veterans achieve their mental health goals.
Jennifer joined E5 Therapy in November of 2022. Kenya joined the E5 therapy team in May 2023. Kenya retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. David joined E5 Therapy in April 2024, boasting two Master's degrees in Psychology and over a decade of experience in providing mental health services. Proficient in treating depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, suicidality, and family/marital conflicts, he employs a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy techniques. His clientele encompasses individuals, couples, and families.
Despite not being a veteran himself, David draws inspiration from the bravery and sacrifices of veterans and their families. He is deeply committed to being a supportive presence. His dedication to serving veterans was evident from an early age. Growing up, he formed relationships with homeless veterans in his neighborhood, recognizing the neglect they faced. This awareness fueled his resolve to address the shortcomings of the mental health system and offer a beacon of hope.

Eric joined E5 in August 2023 and is the Assistant Director of E5 Therapy. He Holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology/ Leadership and his undergrad in Criminal Justice Administration as well as a graduate certificate in Counselling skills. Eric is also a Certified First Responder Associate Therapist (CFRA) as well as C-DBT Certified, a CTP (Certified Trauma Professional) and is currently pursuing his Doctorate with National University. Eric served 22 years across two branches, the US Coast Guard as a plank owner to the Maritime Enforcement rate and the US Army as a Psychological Operations Specialist. Eric medically retired as a Sgt First Class after completing multiple combat tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Eric also served as a Police Officer in the Bay Area in various capacities. Eric is certified in use of the FLASH technique, as well as a Gottman Level 1 and 2 trained Professional. Eric is also a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified coach.
Riann joined the E5 Therapy team in August 2023. She received her Master of Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022. Riann has spent the majority of her career in civil service at the Department of Justice and Napa State Hospital. Riann is the proud mother-in-law of an active-duty Air Force member and is passionate about serving Veterans and their families.
Michael joined E5 in June 2022 as the Administrative Coordinator and is the current Operations Manager. He has a Bachelor's degree in Canine Studies, and is a Retired Army Diesel Mechanic.
